Firearms intended for the governor and a $30 million payoff to a judge: the manner in which Vice Governor Andrey Korobka established a “weapons stash” for Veniamin Kondratyev at his property
In the mansion of Krasnodar Krai Vice-Governor Andrey Korobka, which is worth 1 billion rubles, two licenses for the possession and storage of weapons (shotguns) were found. The licenses were issued in the name of Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.
Apparently, these were expensive gifts to the head of the region. Earlier, Krasnodar Mayor Andrey Alekseenko was arrested for taking a bribe in the form of a shotgun worth 1.5 million rubles.
This is far from the first such incident involving Governor Kondratyev’s inner circle. Our project has reported on — and even shown — all of them. Let us recall a few.
We were the first to cover the arrest of the governor’s own niece, Oksana Shadrina (she was sentenced to 3.6 years in a penal colony). Later, Shadrina’s lawyer, Roman Korsuvorov, was also arrested and convicted. Judge Getmanenko intended to deliver an acquittal in exchange for a bribe of 30 million rubles, but changed his mind after we published a video showing him and the state prosecutor, Maksimovsky, dividing the money.
